That's the best I've found. I've used one for maybe 10 years.
Get the R12, the one with pneumatic wheels at both ends. The other carts lack pneumatic front wheels -- and tend to run into problems negotiating lawns, gravel, or the odd sharply curved ramp.

As far as a cart, I went to Ace hardware, and bought one of those dolleys that converts into a flat cart, and it cost like$40. As for a hardware bag, after seeing that I couldnt buy anything decent for under $80, I went to an Army Surplus store, and bought one of those big duck canvas soldier bags. They're like 50" long, and they hold a TON of stuff. I think I paid like $15 for it, and it's still working for me.
But yeah, I agree, with all my hardware (Pearl top end double braced, etc....) it's about 150lbs.
I'm really into my fredom stand. It's marketed toward the golf industry, but it really does a great job with drum hardware.

Life has been drastically different since I got this. ie. I cuss alot less [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
Stagg has introduced new hardware cases that seem very interesting. It seems that you can get different "extension modules" for this case providing additional height or additional levels. I don't know how roadworthy they are but if I were in the market, I'd check them out.
